This workshop, in the spirit of zine making, is process driven and we encourage experimentation. Pushing your work in new visual directions is all part of the fun! Choose whether to make an edition or individual zines.
Edition: Folium has pre-prepared templates designed especially to work with this format. You’ll concentrate on the narrative of your zine, selecting and ordering images, laying out text and learning Japanese stitching if you choose to use it.
Individual zines: Folium suggests full page bleeds for this format so you can free up your time and spend it getting creative with you imagery and experimenting with methods of printing including mono-tones, layering and collaging your materials and finishes including Japanese stitching if you choose to use it.
