Two places per course. This is a great introduction to medium format photography. You’ll be making and shooting your own still life, getting to know medium format cameras, 6×6 & 6×7 and them developing your film. Shooting exclusively with continuous lighting you’ll get to play with different lighting set ups and experience the beauty of medium format. There are two places per course.

Schedule:

12pm – Meet at the Bright Rooms, introduction to cameras and film

12.15 – 1.15pm – Load your camera and get shooting!

1.15pm – 2pm – Develop your film

2pm – Lunch

2.30pm – 3.30 pm – Scan your film.

What will we cover?

What you need to bring:

Nothing! If you would like to bring objects to photograph as part of a still life then please feel free to do so.

What we provide:

Medium format film & cameras to use.

Level of experience:

Some understanding of analogue process is needed.

Where will the course take place and how many people will attend:

The course will take place in the Bright Rooms darkroom & studio. Two places only.
